Good value with the discount

I grabbed the DNA Health Kit during their seasonal sale. The $30 off made it feel like a solid deal. The app worked fine for registration and I got my results about three weeks later. Felt worth the price for the insights.

Easy to use kit

I got the Epigenetic & DNA Health Kit a few weeks ago. The sample collection was pretty straightforward, just spit in a tube and sent it back. I was a bit worried about messing it up but it was fine. The app has been easy to navigate too, and the personalized recommendations are pretty cool. It got here quick, which was nice.

Detailed insights, slow support

I ordered the Epigenetic & DNA Health Kit and also added on the Longevity DNA Report. The ordering process on the website was smooth enough, and the kit arrived within a week. Sample collection was simple with clear instructions. Results took a little longer than I expected, around four weeks, but the depth of information provided in the app was impressive. I had a question about one of my reports and tried to contact support. It took them three days to get back to me, which was a bit frustrating, but they did eventually answer my question clearly. Overall, I'm happy with the data I received and how it's presented.

Is this legit? Seen some stuff about other DNA companies selling data, worried about privacy here.

N Noor S. 2 months ago
Totally legit. They say they don't sell your data to anyone, and they have pretty strong security measures for your genetic info. I did a deep dive before I sent mine in.

Yeah, they're pretty clear about not sharing it with third parties. It's a big part of their FAQ section if you want more details.

how long does it usually take to get the results back after you send in your sample? i'm in california and curious.

L Laura B. 2 months ago
From when they receive your sample, usually like 4-6 weeks for the full report. They'll email you when it's ready for the app.

Mine was pretty quick, about a month. But that was for the DNA only, the epigenetic one might take a little longer to process I guess.

What's the return policy if I buy a kit and then decide not to use it? Can I get a refund for an unopened box?

R Rachel Reyes 2 months ago
Yeah, if it's unused and still sealed, you can return it. Just gotta do it within their timeframe, I think it's like 30 days but double check their site.

Returns were easy for me. I ordered one as a gift and the person already had one, so I sent it back unopened and got my money back no problem.

How do these compare to 23andMe or AncestryDNA? Is it worth the extra cost for the 'health insights'?

J Julia A. 3 months ago
23andMe and Ancestry are more about ancestry and raw genetic data. This one dives way deeper into how your genes affect your health and gives you actionable advice. It's a different focus, so 'worth it' depends on what you're looking for.

I used 23andMe before, and this is totally different. This is less about where your family came from and more about practical stuff like how you respond to certain foods or exercise. If you want health recommendations, this is way better.

Thinking about the Epigenetic subscription. Can you use multiple discount codes, like a new customer one and a holiday deal?

R Rosa 2 months ago
Nah, generally you can only use one code per order. I tried to stack a referral with a seasonal deal once and it didn't work. Had to pick one.

One code per purchase usually, that's standard for most online stores. But the subscription itself is often cheaper than buying individual tests over time anyway.
